Why I Built This (A Master’s Tale)#
The Saint Quartz Struggle#
Let’s be honest: I’m a casual player. I’m not here to min-max every single turn or write 50-page lore essays. However, there is one thing that haunts every FGO player: Saint Quartz management.
I created this site because I needed a simple answer to a stressful question: “How much time do I actually have left before this banner disappears?”
I wanted a way to track exactly how many days were left for specific FGO NA banners so I could decide whether to roll or keep saving. What started as a small personal script to help me plan my own gacha pulls eventually evolved into what you see here.
The Tech Behind the Laziness#
To keep things fast and efficient, I built this site using GoHugo and the excellent Blowfish theme.
Why Hugo? Because it’s a static site generator. It’s lightning-fast, and frankly, it costs next to nothing to host. Since I’m a bit “lazy” when it comes to manual updates, I’ve automated the backend to do the heavy lifting for me. This allows me to have a clean, functional site without spending hours tinkering with it every day.
What This Site Is (And What It Isn’t)#
I want to be very clear: This project is NOT intended to replace the massive wikis or the legendary community databases.
Those sites are incredible, but they are also huge. I don’t have any “secret extra info” to add, and quite honestly, * I’m way too lazy* to try and compete with them! I’m not here to write guides or tier lists.
This is simply one more tool in your arsenal. It’s a specialized, streamlined tracker to help you:
- Check active banners at a glance.
- See how much time is left to farm those last few SQ.
- Plan your future rolls for FGO NA, and soon, Genshin Impact and FGO JP.
The Vision (and the Money)#
This project isn’t about making money. I built it for myself and shared it because I thought you might find it useful too.
In the future, I might look for a way to cover the basic domain costs, but that’s about it. At the end of the day, it’s a static site—it’s built for utility, not profit. I just hope it helps you stay organized and, hopefully, brings a bit of luck to your multi-rolls.
